Grandma Parker, [Eran Elizabeth Goff] widow of Jesse Parker, died at her home in the Basin community last Monday morning after an illness of only a few hours at the ripe old age of eighty years. She was one of the pioneer settlers there and was well known, and loved by all who knew her. She was buried in the Old Gibson Cemetery by the side of her husband who preceded her to the grave several years ago.
Her pastor, Brother Loftis, was in charge of the funeral services.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Web [Cora] Parker and Mrs. George [Naomi] Cochran, two sons, Pet [Print] and [Admiral] Dewey Parker and other relatives who have the sympathy of their many friends in their hour of sorrow.
