ADKINS, MRS. ALENE ( LAVENDER ), Age 79, of Deer Lodge, passed away Friday, March 7, 2003 in The Cumberland Medical Center of Crossville. She was a very active member of The Deer Lodge Congregational Church, and was very active in her community Also. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Adkins; parents, Warren And Rena Lavender; two brothers, Ed and Woodrow Lavender; one Sister, Ruth Adkins. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Burk Adkins of Deer Lodge; children, Leta Ammerman and husband, Harry of Kingston, Robin Norris and Husband, Kevin of Jamestown; Grandchildren, Tom Ammerman and wife, Meg of Kingston, Scott Ammerman and wife, Tracey of Kingston, Sharon Scott and Tom of Kingston, and Kristi Norris of Jamestown; Great-Grandchildren, Matthew and Zachery Ammerman and Brooke Scott, all of kingston; several nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends Monday, March 10, 2003 from 6-8 Pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will begin at 8 Pm with Rev.
