A YOUNG WIFE COMMITS SUICIDE.
Mrs. John Dunn of Fountain Green, Tires of Life, and Hangs Herself.
A young wife and mother's suicide by hanging at Fountain Thursday [sic] evening was a tragedy of the yuletide season. Mrs. John Dunn, who was Elsie Kimbrough before her marriage, in a fit of despondency, drove a nail above her bed room [sic] door and tying a piece of muslin around her neck climbed on a chair and jumped off into space. Her husband returning home found the body cold in death.
Mrs. Dunn was about 30 years old and by her marriage to John Dunn leaves two sons, aged five and seven years, to mourn with the husband and father.
The funeral occurred at Fountain Green M. E. church Sunday at 11 o'clock a. m., Rev, [sic] Shawgo, officiating assisted by Rev. L. C. Gray. Burial in the Fountain Green cemetery.
