Ben was born with and retained, for life, the original spelling of last name, WIGGINGTON. However, rest of the family changed to WIGINGTON being changed by Grandfather Joseph in 1925. Husband of: Iris Wiggington. Brother of: Fern Lee. Half-brother & Sister of Jerry L. Wigington and Shirley Ann (Wigington) Thomas. Step-Son of Ona L. Wigington. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Began a career working oil patches in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Later became a field superintendant for Varel Oil Company.
