LOUP CITY (Special Dispatch)--Mrs. Ignatz Szafrajda, 75, of Loup City, a life-time resident of Sherman county, died Friday in a Loup City hospital after suffering a broken hip several weeks ago. Funeral services will be held at 10
a.m. at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, Loup City, with the Rev. Daniel Fishburn officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Szafrajda was born Oct. 17, 1889, at Ashton to Joe and Anna Stobbe. She lived in Sherman county all her life. Her husband, Ignatz, died in 1963. She is survived by two sons, Joe, Loup City, and Leonard, Gibbon; four daughters,
Mrs. Agnes Piontkowksi, Loup City, Mrs. Nellie Shanholts, Omaha, Mrs. Emily Hanneman, Kearney, and Mrs. Helen Smith, Cozad; two brothers, Ben and Joe, Loup City; five half-brothers, Edward, Lloyd, Harry and Zigmundt, Loup City, and
Alphonso, Omaha and three half-sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Czaplewski, Omaha, Mrs. Mary Karkowski, Rockville, and Mrs. Irene Southerland, Beaver, Ore.
