Artist. Known primarily for his landscapes. Waycott exhibited at the National Academy of Design and the Independent Artists Society in New York and the Pallet and Chisel Club of Chicago. He was a member of the American Federation of Arts and was listed in the American and European Blue Books of Artists. Waycott was a member of the Peoria, Illinois Sketch Club and was active in the Peoria Art League, the Peoria Society of Allied Artists, and the Art Institute of Peoria. Waycott's long association with the Peoria community and his prolific production of area landscapers made him the most recognized of the Sketch Club members to the local public.
