Mrs. Lottie Charlotte Head Sluss Hill, resident of Bluefield and widow of Edward Wiley Hill, died Wednesday, July 22, 1964 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bluefield after a long illness. Born October 30, 1893 in Tazewell County, she was a daughter of Clem D. Head and Mary Dillon Head. She was a member of the Baptist Church, a native of Pocahontas, Va. Survivors include four sons, Richard Sluss of Richmond, Va., Herbert Dillon of Madison, WI., Clarence Hill of Bluefield, and Clark Hill of Falls Mills, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Viola Bailey of Bluefield and Kathleen Henderson of Elizabethton, TN.; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Dudley Mortuary in Bluefield, Va.
