Adams, Beau Justin

Beau was born on March 22, 1975 in Bakersfield, California and passed away on November 9, 2008 as a result of a vehicle accident. In his youth he was a Boy Scout and loved the outings they would take. Beau enjoyed playing youth soccer and baseball while growing up. His best friends were Derek and Kevin with whom he grew up. Some of his most enjoyable memories were going fishing and camping with his family at Ward Lake. Beau attended Eissler Elementary, Chipman Jr. High and was a graduate of Highland High School class of 1993. He worked a number of years in the insurance industry and was employed by Key Energy at the time of his passing. One of Beau's favorite activities was taking Rhonda and his children fishing. He loved us all and tried never to miss our large family gatherings. Beau especially enjoyed the fact that last spring he and his dad were the T-Ball coaches for his three children who were on the Bear Valley Angels. He took great pride and satisfaction taking his twins, Conner and Courtney to their opening day kindergarten class at Discovery Elementary. His most recent moment of pride was his oldest son, Kaleb, making the second grade Honor Roll at Orangewood Elementary. Beau had a wonderful sense of humor and could find humor in any situation. His family and friends loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. Even though our hearts ache, Beau would not want any of us to be sad because he is gone, only to rejoice in his memory. Beau was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Adams, grandmother, Vera Adams and grandfather, Paul Morse. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Paula Adams of Tehachapi; sister and brother-in-law, Skyler and Mike O'Neill; fiancee, Rhonda Duerner; children, Kaleb, Conner and Courtney Adams; and nephew, Sean Gary O'Neill; grandmothers, Jean Adams and Barbara Morse; aunts and uncles, Larry and Cristina Adams, Patty Adams, Mark and Cheryl Adams, Barby Morse, Steven and Cindy Morse, Melinda and Lowell Newton, Karen and John Dennis; cousins, Tammy Clinton, Lisa Jack, Laurie Eberheart, Clay Adams, Jason Green, Paul Morse, John Morse, Jack Dennis, Lowell Newton and Lyndsey Watkins. Graveside funeral services will be held at West Side District Cemetery in Taft on Friday, November 14, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be at Erickson & Brown Funeral Home, 501 Lucard St., Taft on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. To 8:30 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Following the service a reception will be held at New Hope Temple in Taft at Cedar and Harrison Streets. Please come and help us celebrate Beau's life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Juvenile American Diabetes Association.
