Glenna Jean Belcher, 37, of 3211 Walters Ave., Bluefield, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 at her home. She was born in Bluefield and was the daughter of Glen K. Belcher of Bluefield and the late Norma Jean Wimmer Belcher. She was a former employee at the Westwood Health Care Center. She was a sweet, kind and loving person to all. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly D. Gunter. In addition to her father, Glen K. Belcher, she is survived by a son, Matthew Belcher of the home; sister, Sandra Tabor and husband Anthony of Falls Mills, Va.; brother, Calvin Proffitt and wife Hope of Bluefield, W.Va.; fiance, Matthew Bradshaw of Rocky Gap, Va.; aunt, Nancy Baker of Bluefield; and special friends, Chester and Edie Bratton, Richard Wirt, and Howard and Donna Call; also several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dudley Memorial Chapel in Bluefield, Va. with Richard Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Calvin Proffitt, Willie Tabor, Donnie Baker, Chester Bratton, Rodney Lambert, and Kevin Lloyd.
