Born in Canada to John G. Love and Emma Dawson. Moved to Rockville Township with his parents about 1857. Married twice: Emma Dawson-15 Oct 1881. Rose Lee Lancaster-Feb 1895. Four children. Three children died in infancy-outbreak of croupal diphtheria-no records-including Emma Dawson. One surviver: Wade Huling Love. Mother was Rose Lee Lancaster. Gravesite Details

Sidney had surgery in Chicago in the late spring of 1916 because of stomach pains following a car accident. Surgeons discovered incurable cancer as the problem. Sidney Love died a few days later.
