This family was farming in Grapeland, Houston Co East Texas. The farming played out so everyone moved in a covered wagon to West Texas. Their destination was Taylor County near Lubbock. On the way David William got Typhoid Fever so the family stopped in Fort Worth and stayed with David's brother. When David died, he was buried in Fort Worth. The rest of his family moved on to Taylor County. His wife was Samuella Little Martin, children: Vesta Mae, Samuel David (Bud), Emily Lavena. Robert William, Ruby Argalia, Thomas Smith, Leland Leslie, and Mary Omega
