Kenneth was the second child of Conrad and Lela Capers Connella. In 1935 he married Charlotte Josephine Baker. They had five sons, Richard, Jim, Bob, Don and Jack. Charlotte passed in 1972, and in 1973 Kenneth married a widow, Miriam Elizabeth "Beth" Arnold Gingrich. Although they lived in Woodland Hills, Calif., they were vacationing in Boston, Mass., at the time of his death.
