Arthur F. Alderete, 51, a resident of Peralta, NM passed away November 13, 2008. Mr. Alderete is survived by his parents, Vicente and Virginia Alderete; children, Donna M. De Vargas and husband, Toby, Arthur D. Alderete, Frankie J. Alderete and his lady, Kristin, Jalissa Williams; brothers, Richard Alderete and wife, Dolores, Alfred Alderete and wife, Myrna, Robert Alderete; grandchildren, Jonathan Isaiah Griego, Vincent James Griego, baby Maliyah and another grandchild on the way; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Alderete a member of the Catholic Church, retired from the City of Albuquerque in 1999, a 49er fan and loved his pet chihuahuas. Mr. Alderete was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. Final visitation will be on Monday, November 17, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, with Father Bill Sanchez, presider. Interment will follow at Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers are Frankie J. Alderete, Arthur D. Alderete, Toby V. de Vargas Jr., Richard Alderete, Alfred Alderete and Robert Alderete.
