EVA M. KIRKENDALL MARTIN, 90, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Elida, died March 8, 2002, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 30, 1911, in Elida to Aaron and Bernice Good, who preceded her in death. She married Charles Kirkendall, who preceded her in death. She later married Ben F. Martin Sr., who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Martin had been a member of the Knoxville Mennonite Church for several years, and became a member of the Bahia Vista Mennonite Church after moving to Sarasota, Fla.
Survivors include two sons, Marlin R. Kirkendall of Waynesville and Melvin A. Kirkendall of Elkton, Va.; a stepson, Ben Martin II of Crestview, Fla.; and a daughter Lucille Kirkendall Sterling of Dennison.
She was preceded in death by a son Charles L. Kirkendall.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel, Knoxville, Tenn. The Rev. Matt Matterson will officiate. Burial will be in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
