Marvin had been employed for several years with Wilson Foods. He then worked for Tyson as a maintenance supervisor before retiring in 2005.
Marvin was baptized in the Lockport Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working with metal.
Marvin and Carolyn had three sons, Marvin Lee McAninch Jr. and his wife Regina, Christopher Scott McAninch and his wife Veronica, all of Logansport, and Gregory Allen McAninch and his wife Tammy, of Shipshewana; one stepson SSG Leslie W. Fuller and his wife Judith, of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky; four brothers, Merrill L. McAninch and his wife Jean, of Wingate, Melvin L. McAninch and his wife Pat, and Larry McAninch and his wife Jill, all of Burnettsville, and John W. McAninch, of Kokomo; nineteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Twyla Twinehan McAninch; two brothers; one sister; and two great-grandsons.
