Georgia Lee Greenwalt Magar, 81, of Norman, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008. She was born on April 17, 1927, at Fennel, the daughter of George Lee Greenwalt and Lillie Maye Wheat Greenwalt. On Aug. 14, 1943, she was married to Wesley Henry Magar who preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, George Henry Magar and Thomas Darrell Ma-gar; and one great grandson, Kaden Alan Magar.
She was Pentecostal in her faith, a homemaker and she en-joyed reading and sewing. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Windel and Jeanette Magar of Hot Springs, Ark., and Espye and Glenda Magar of Mena, Ark.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ida and Gene Pate of Amity, Ark., Mildred and Derrell Burgen of Watts, Ann and Everett Phil-lips of Harrison, Ark., and Faye and Gary Phillips of Hot Springs; 17 grandchildren, Donnie Pate, Pamela Rowland, Jennifer Gar-cia, Anthony Magar, Anita Renard, Alan Magar, Aaron Ma-gar, Esney Burgen, Bobby Bur-gen, Naomi Portugal, Scott Phil-lips, Shane Phillips, Dale Phil-lips, Mikialla Garcia, Crystal Magar, Thomas Magar and Jason Magar; 33 great grandchildren; seven brothers, John Lee Greenwalt of New Mexico, Has-kel "Snapper" Greenwalt of Vidor, Texas, Frankie Greenwalt of Texarkana, Texas, Troy Greenwalt of Grand Prairie, Texas, Loy Greenwalt of Hugo, Leslie Greenwalt of Nevada and Hubert Greenwalt of Dallas, Texas; and three sisters, Betty Henson of Reno, Texas, Laverne Green of Hugo and Mary Owens of Texarkana, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sat-urday, Nov. 15, 2008, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Don Shipley and Bro. Jerry Fa-gan officiating. Interment will be held in the Mount Tabor Ceme-tery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood, Ark.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Pate, Anthony Magar, Alan Ma-gar, Aaron Magar, Esney Burgen and Shane Phillips.
Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Rowland, Chris Renard, Bobby Burgen, Leslie Portugal, Scott Phillips, Dale Phillips, An-tonio Garcia, Thomas Magar, Jason Magar and Chris Garcia.
