W. B. Moore was named for his great-grandfather Capt. William Bowen of the American Revolution. Capt Bowen is buried at his now historic homeplace in the Moss-Wright park in Goodlettsville, (near Nashville) Tennessee. Capt. Bowen's wife was Mary Henley Russell, daughter of Brig.
