Rev. James J. Fallon, 70, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Monday, May 28, 2007. He was predeceased by his parents, James T. and Katherine R. (White) Fallon; and his brothers, William A. and Richard Fallon; also his brother-in-law, Richard Manning. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Manning, Canandaigua; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Donald F. and Mary Fallon, Jerome K. and Marie Fallon, Patricia Fallon, all of Binghamton; 14 nieces and nephews, four great-nieces and nephews. Father Fallon was a graduate of St. Patrick's Academy, St. Andrew's and St. Bernard's Seminary. He was ordained a priest on February 2, 1962. He was an Associate Pastor at Assumption Parish, Binghamton, St. Paul's in Rome, N.Y., St. Peter in Rome, N.Y., and Our Lady of Sorrows in Vestal. He served as Chaplain of the Rome School for the Deaf, and on the faculty at Rome Catholic High and Seton Catholic High in Endicott, and was Director of Emmaus House of Prayer in Endicott. Father Fallon served as Pastor of St. Mary of the Assumption, Binghamton, Our Lady of Rosary Church in New Hartford, St. Patrick's in Binghamton and Christ the King in Endwell, and has been in residence at St. James Church in Johnson City since July of 1994.
