Payette- Services are pending for Isaac H. Adair, 72, who died Tuesday at the Mary Secor hospital at Emmett.
He was born Aug. 31, 1866, at Laurel, Ind.

At the age of 20, he went to Kansas and then on to Colorado. He worked at brick baking and masonry. In 1895, Mr. Adair took up the work of embalming and funeral directing,

In 1903 he went to California and came to Payette in 1904. He helped finish the Baptist church and was overseer in building the Methodist church.

In 1908 Mr. Adair went back to the funeral directing and embalming work. He worked for Wood and Spaulding until the sold out to Peterson, and then continued working for Peterson, and then continued working for Peterson until 1932, when he went to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Pauline Noland, of Montour. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include his two sons, Walter of Payette and Roy Adair of Illinois, who will arrive here Friday; and one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Noland, of Montour, besides three grandchildren, Walter, Laura Belle and Russell Adain of Payette.

Ida NELSON WHEMPNER ADAIR, was his second wife. They were married on 11 October 1926 in Payette, Payette County, Idaho.
