Mrs. Appa CLIFFORD, 90, who was born in a covered wagon near Republic, 90 years ago, died at 7 a.m. today in Vaughn Rest Home.

Mrs. Clifford was born while her famly was enroute to Arkansas traveling in a covered wagon. However, she had lived most of her life in and near Springfield.

Surviving are two sons. J.R. Moore, 2311 West Phelps and L.R. Moore, Tulsa; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Kinder, Kansas City, a sister, Mrs. Pearl Anderson, Cassville; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Clifford had been a member of Broadway Methodist Church for many years.

Jewell Windle will have charge of arrangements.
