In Knoxville, Tenn., Thursday, July 9, 1903, Miss Nannie Dismukes. Remains arrived here this morning and are at the establishment of W.R. Cornelius & Co. from where they will be conveyed at 8 o'clock to Spring Hill Cemetery for internment. Services at the grave at 9:30 a.m. by Rev. J. H. McNeilly (ID# 102385426). This morning at 4 o'clock, Miss Nannie Dismukes, sister of Samuel C. Dismukes, and Mrs. R.S. Payne, died at the residence of Samuel C. Dismukes at the age of 41. The funeral will take place at Nashville, to which the place the remains will be sent. The remains will leave this evening at 6:20 o'clock for Nashville and will be interred in the family plot in the capital city. (Source: Knoxville Sentinel, July 9, 903)
