Mary Carolyn Harris was born in Jenny Lynn, AR, in 1915 to Dr. Bunn and Pearl Harris. She received a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma A&M and then a Master’s degree from Columbia University. Upon retirement Mary started a vigorous volunteer career, always a strong commitment to community. Organizations include PEO, Pilots Club, Trinity and the St. John Auxiliary. Mary touched the lives of many without recognition or pride. She traveled the world without fear, an open minded view, compassionate about the plight of others. She gave of herself fully, welcoming all into her heart. Mary’s health nor troubles ever seemed to stop her drive or smile. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim. She is survived by family and friends that will mourn yet cherish memories. Memorials should go to the Iron Gate at Trinity, 501 S. Cincinnati, Tulsa, OK 74103.
