Memorial Service Details: Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Hass Funeral Home in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Texline Cemetery in Texline, Texas by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton
Notes: Debra was born on July 18, 1953 and passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008.
Debra was a resident of Harrisonville, Missouri at the time of her passing.
She is survived by her husband Dan.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Hass Funeral Home in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will follow in the Texline Cemetery in Texline, Texas by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Debra Lee Corpening

Debra Lee Corpening, 55, died Nov. 17, 2008, in Harrisonville.

She was born July 18, 1953, the daughter of Jack and Sybil (Callis) Bebb in Guymon, Okla.

She grew up in the Gruver and Perryton, Texas, areas.

She graduated from Elkhart High School, Elkhart, Kan., in 1971.

On May 27, 1972, she married her high school sweetheart, Dan Corpening.

Mrs. Corpening attended Liberal Area Vo-Tech, Liberal, Kan., for one year before working at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company in Elkhart.

Later, she worked for five years as the Hugoton, Kan., grade school secretary. Mrs. Corpening returned to school and in 1994 she graduated with honors from Panhandle State in Goodwill, Okla., with a degree in business administration. In recent years, she was caregiver to her parents.

She loved the outdoors, her dogs, reading and playing with her grandson and great-nieces.

Her greatest joy in life came on April 14, 2008, with the birth of her grandson, Jack the Bear. He was her "sweet little fellar" that she loved with all of her heart and soul.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Surviving are her husband, Dan, Harrisonville; her son Ryan and wife Angela, grandson, Jack, and sister, Janet Mobray and husband, Lane, all of Amarillo, Texas; eight nieces, six nephews, 11 great-nieces and five great-nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Services were Nov. 20 at the First Christian Church in Harrisonville, with Dr. Edwin Peeples officiating. Music was provided by Ryan Corpening, guitarist.

Services were Nov. 21 at the Hass Funeral Home in Clayton, N.M., with the Rev. Billy Rammage officiating.

Burial was in the Texline Cemetery, Texline, Texas.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Harrisonville Animal Shelter, Harrisonville.

Local funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville.
