The graveside services for Flona L. Baugher, 99, of Athens will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Athens City Cemetery with Jeremiah McElyea officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Baugher died Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. Baugher was a member of the First Union Baptist Church of Athens. She was a homemaker.
She was born March 25, 1909 in Smithville, Tennessee.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeanette Covier of Athens, and Geraldine DeForest and husband Ned of Jacksonville, FL; special niece, Marie Harbin of Athens; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her sisters, Mellnee Roland and Sarah Ola Ferguson.
