Shirley Ann Alsip Foiles, 67, of Paris died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital South at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received her into their care.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, May 11, at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born June 22, 1935, in Arkansas City, Kan., the daughter of Frank Monroe and Denna Rauhoff Alsip.

She married Merle Emmet Foiles on June 5, 1959. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1997.

Survivors include four children; Stephen Emmet Foiles and wife, Tammie, of Paris, Cynthia D. Horton of Paris, Todd Marshall Foiles of Paris and Christopher Matthew Foiles and fiance`, Brenda, of Winnsboro; one brother; John Alsip of California; three sisters, Frankie Jennings of Sanger, Jackie Crosswhite of Houston and Mitzi Daugherty of Tulsa, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.
