Christopher C. Colborn was the son of Robert M. & Rebecca Elizabeth (Hazelton) Colborn.

He married Harriet Elizabeth "Hattie" Shaner on 07 Jan 1876 in New Lexington, Perry Co., OH. They had at least five children, all born in OH:
