Harriet Elizabeth "Hattie" Shaner was the daughter of Joshua H. & Margaret (Gillespie) Shaner.

She married Christopher C. Colborn on 07 Jan 1876 in New Lexington, Perry Co., OH. They had at least five children, all born in OH:
