Paul C. Koop, 54, of rural route, Webster City, died Thursday evening at his home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Presbyterian church in Kamrar with the Rev. Marvin Camp officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery at Kamrar. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Monday when it will be taken to the church.

Paul Calvin Koop, son of W.W. and Eka Welp Koop, was born June 23, 1921 in Kamrar. He was reared and educated in that area. On June 1, 1942, he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Ward, and the couple resided on an acreage north of Webster City. Mr. Koop was employed at Van Diest Supply Co. in Webster City.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Michael Koop, Russellville, Ark., Terry Koop and Karen Koop of Webster City and Mrs. Michael (Jane) Jacobson of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Rod, Tod, Chad and Kim Koop; and four sisters, Mrs. Sam (Harmka) Huisman of Hillsdale, Wis., Mrs. Joe (Jessie) Rigter of Kamrar, Mrs. Henry (Eka) Naber of Kamrar and Mrs. James (Jeanette) Greenfield of Kamrar. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters. Mr. Koop was a member of the Moose lodge in Webster City.
