Warren L. "Andy" Andrews, age 78, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at his home in Mustang after a short illness.


He was born October 20, 1930 in Boston, MA to Warren L. and Marion Andrews. and grew up in Quincy. He was a graduate of North Quincy High School and attend the US Coast Guard Academy. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in Business.


He joined the US Marines during the Korean Conflict and later joined the US Army where he attended OCS training at Ft. Sill, OK. He served as an officer in the Army for twenty-two years, retiring in 1973 as a Lt. Colonel. He proudly served in Korea and Viet Nam. He also had Master's degrees from Golden Gate University and USC in Computer Science. After retirement, he moved to Mustang in 1984, where he owned and operated Accent on Video, selling that and retiring in 2004. He was a Episcopalian, a member of the American Legion, a Mason and a Shriner.


He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sue. He is survived by one son, Paul George Andrews and wife, Debra of St. Louis, MO three daughters, Linda Sue Warner and husband, Phil of Yukon, Debbie Behrens and husband, Tom of Mustang and Dayle Andrews of Mustang. Also by ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one sister, Jeanie McGraw and husband, Jim of Walnut Creek, CA.


Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008, in the Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK. Interment, with full military honors, will be held at Mustang Cemetery directly following the service.


Memorial donations may be made to the "Army Emergency Relief Fund" in care of the funeral home.
