cause of death: congestive chill
death cert. # 5010
Miss Tina Adair, 13 years and 8 months daughter of James Adair, died the 30th at 7 o'clock in the morning after an illness of only about 30 hours. She had a very hard chill, supposed to be a congestive chill, but continually refused to let her sister call a physician until a few minutes before her death when it was too late to get one. She was buried at Knob graveyard the 31st. This was a great shock to our neighbors as well as her parents. We all sympathize with the bereaved parents, brothers and sisters.
