Walter "Walt" Daley Osman is the son of Arthur Franklin Osman and Mary Estella Fritz. His siblings are as follows: Clayton Dwight (1910-1961); Francis Marion (1911-1912); Susan Georgiana (1914-2002) married 1st Jack H. Rogers 2nd George J. Costa; Ida Florence (1915-1918); Arthur Franklin Jr. (1917-1988); Ella "Sis" Mae (1920-2008) married 1st Myron Ralph Ellis; 2nd Seymour N. Klahr; Robert William (1922-1923); Lewis Wayne (1926-2008); John Richard born 1930; June Shirley (1933-1943).
Walt was in the U.S. Army during World War II and was all around the world. He married Irene Kish on May 21, 1948, in Corapolis, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. They adopted Irene's nephew, Kenneth William, after his mother died. He was a son of Irene's sister. Walt and Irene settled in Corapolis.
