Sparr, FL - Ella "Rabb" Yongue Gutschlag born January 29, 1925, in Fairfield, FL passed away March 2, 2012 at home in Sparr, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos R. Gutschlag, Sr. She retired after 40+ years as secretary/office manager for Dr. John A. Crago in Gainesville, all while being a full-time "farmer's wife." She was a lifelong Marion County resident and member of Fairfield Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder. She is survived by two daughters, Leila (Hugh) Mathews; Elizabeth (Tony) Baxley; one son, Carlos R. Gutschlag, Jr.; five grandchildren, Katelynn Gutschlag, Nicole Murdock, James Baxley, Samantha Christman, Jennifer Mathews; six great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Attison, Ethan, Dakota "Kodi", Tanner & Justin. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Bruce Seaman at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 4, 2012, in the Germantown Cemetery, Reddick, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gatrell Educational Fund, Fairfield Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home.
