CHAPPELL. Died 26-09-1986. Faye L. Chappell, 81, died at 5:28 a.m., today, Sept. 26, 1986, at Greenwood Manor in Jerseyville, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Delhi, a daughter of the late Fred and Lillie (Ross) Beitweiser. Her husband, Everett Chappell, died Oct. 31, 1978. Surviving are four grandchildren; one great-grandson; five brothers, Dixon Breitweiser of East Alton, and Edward, Fred , Pete and Herb Breitweiser, all of Jerseyville; and four sisters, Vida Breitweiser, of St. Charles, Mo., Mary Miller of Jerseyville, Emma Antrae of Alton and Marjorie Beiser of Jerseyville. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. At Peace United Church of Christ in Jerseyville, visitation will continue from noon Sunday until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Frederick Francis will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the church, where she had been a member since 1920. ~ Obituary found on Jersey Co. GenWeb
