ATHOL MAN DROPS WHILE AT WORK

Albert Bartlett Dodge Dies Without Regaining Consciousness

Athol, Nov 9 - died aged 66 years, 6 months and 14 days died at his home on 451 Main street from cerebral hemorrage; was in good health in when he left home in the afternoon to go to work for J. F. Higgins Undertaker on Exchange street;

while at work at 3.30 he dropped suddenly, was removed to his home, remained unconscious until his death;

born in Lanesboro Aug 24, 1849

son of David and Sophia (Pratt) Dodge;

his early life was passed in North Leverett where, Christmas Day 1872 he married Elizabeth Pierce,

they came here in 1885 and lived here since; he leaves besides his wife, two daughters Mrs George A Whitney 103 Marble street, and Mrs Maude Dumont 451 Main street; funeral from the home of Mrs Whitney,

burial in Silver Lake cemetery
