Valparaiso, Indiana -- Marion Elizabeth Black, age 95, passed away on November 1, 2004.
She is survived by one son, David Black of Atlanta, GA; one daughter, Sue Garcia of Virginia Beach, VA; nine grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren.
Marion worked at the Porter Memorial Hospital in the Nursing Field from 1944 until she retired in 1971. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Valparaiso, Elks Club, Banta Center and a member of the Moose Lodge for 58 years.
A memorial gathering service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Moose Lodge in Valparaiso from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
