Leona Lucille Sheppard, 85, formerly of Portage, died Monday at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home.
She was born in Portage, daughter of John and Mary Jane (Lloyd) Bunn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Calvin Sheppard; a grandson, Todd Bloom; three sisters; and two brothers.
Surviving are a brother, Ray in California; two children: Lucy, wife of Bernard Bloom, and Calvin, married to the former Karen Patterson, all of Portage; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Portage. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Portage, with the Rev. Michael E. Long officiating. Interment at Prospect Cemetery, Portage.
