RAYBURN BARNETT, 74, Indianapolis, died August 7, 2003. Mr. Barnett was a Master Mechanic for Reid & Holcomb for 24 years, retiring in 1990. Prior to Reid & Holcomb, Mr. Barnett worked for Hygrade Foods as a forklift operator.
Mr. Barnett was a member of Capitol City Conservation Club and was past president of Glenn's Valley Conservation Club.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday, August 11, 2003, at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center -- Decatur Township at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2003, 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral center.
Interment will be in Floral Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his beloved wife Christeen (Cardwell) Barnett, to whom he has been married since 1946.
Mr. Barnett also has four children surviving him -- John, Ronald, Bob Barnett and Debbie Hanks.
Two of Mr. Barnett's children have predeceased him -- Daniel and Wayne Barnett.
Mr. Barnett has two sisters Vonnie Johnson and Barbara Barnett and one brother Jim Barnett surviving.
Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
