DOUBLE FUNERAL FRIDAY
Tots Electrocuted by Lightning-Charged Wire
Two small children were electrocuted near Dixon Tuesday evening about dusk when they came in contact with an electrically charged television lead in.

Victims were Marilyn Doyle, 5, and Larry Schwartz, 4, who were playing outdoors at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Doyle, where their parents were visiting. Coroner's reports indicate that Larry Schwartz apparently ran into the wire and the little girl was also killed when she grasped the boy. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schwartz were visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Doyle, at their home known as the Claude Doyle farm near Portuguese Point on the Gasconade River, 7 miles south of Dixon. The children were happily playing in the yard when they came into contact with the wire.

Survivors of the Doyle child, include, her parents; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Wiles, Dixon, her paternal grandfather, Claude Doyle, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Fred Moore, Dixon.

But there had been much electricity in the air that afternoon.
