Mrs. Nellie Beasley O'Neal, age 90, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. O'Neal was born January 7, 1918, at Texarkana, Texas, and had lived most of her life in Miller County, Arkansas. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husbands, Noel A. Beasley in 1976, and Flemon O'Neal in 2002, and a grandson, Bobby L. Beasley, Jr.
Survivors include one son, Bobby L. Beasley of Fouke, Arkansas, four daughters, Duane Griffin of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jean Crabtree, Nolene J. Crabtree, and Nelene Harris all of Fouke, Arkansas, two brothers, Roy Upchurch of Fouke, Arkansas, and Raymond Upchurch of Texarkana, Arkansas, fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Sylverino Baptist Church with Emmett Crabtree officiating. Burial will be at Sylverino Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
