George Washington Bartram, s/o Moses & Elizabeth (Budd) Bartram, was married to Anna Maria (Baker) Bartram with whom he had six children, Anna Catherine, Henry, Abijah, Georgeanna Maria, Georgianna Maria and Pocahontas Bartram. Prior to being a druggist in Chester, he served as a Philadelphia Alderman then, later, became Justice of the Peace and Notary Public for Chester Co. He was a warden at St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church, Chester.
