Funeral services conducted by Rev. J.G. Newton and Rev. J.G. Wilson, active pallbearers Rufus, Earle, Allen, Benjamin and James Martin and Lewis Jolly.
The escort of honor - - - Will Tucker, E.A. Johnston, Oliver W. Casey, S.J. Newton, Dr. Harrison Pruitt, L.L. Martin and the deacons of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Burial in Hopewell Church Cemetery.
Sonya B. Eason has the family bible of Benjamin Duckworth Martin with photos of his children from both wives.
