Robert E. Agner, Sr., 67, retired quality control for Chicago Bridge and Iron Company, and a member of Southaven Methodist Church, died Thursday November 22, 2007 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto. Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on November 24 and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, both held at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home of Hernando. Burial was in Hernando Memorial Park in Hernando, Miss.
Mr. Agner leaves his wife, Shirley Agner; one daughter, Kelly Holden and husband, Marty of Coldwater; three sons, Robert Agner, Jr. and wife, Karen of Hernando, Keith Alexander Agner of Southaven, and William Turner Agner of Southaven; one brother, Hiram Agner of Horn Lake; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
