Warner Meek was born in Peoli, Ohio to parents David H. Meek and Jermina Lyons-Meek. On April 19, 1904, he married Janie Lindon and they made residence in Tuscarawas, Ohio. Warner and Janie had three children: Homer R. Meek (1907-1980), Mary A. Meek (1910-1982), and John R. Meek (1913-?). None of the Meek children married. Warner died tragically at the age of 40 from a ruptured appendix. In addition to his wife and three children, Warner Meek was survived by three sisters: Catherine Jane Meek-Pettay, Emma M. Meek-Roberts, and Anna Meek Kelley.
