Thresa Ann (Derryberry) Jones was born on March 19, 1949, in Lindsay, Oklahoma and departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2008 at her home in McLoud, Oklahoma at the age of 59.
Thresa, the daughter of Malcolm Earl and Nona Mae Simmons Derryberry, was a long-time resident of McLoud. She married William "Bill" Albert Jones on April 26, 1967, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Thresa was a homemaker.
Her father preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Bill of the home, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Erin Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Garlan Hatcher of Meeker, mother, Mae Derryberry of Sparks, brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Peggy Derryberry of Arlington, Texas and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks with Rev. Jeff Bruton officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
