Jay D Vise, 67, of Aurora died Jan. 5. Services were Jan. 11 in Fairmount Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Vise was born in Wilsonville, Neb. He was a staff training officer with Lowry Air Force Base Civil Service for 29 years prior to his retirement in 1980. Mr. Vise served in the Army during World War II and received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; two sons, William of Denver and John of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; two brothers, Rodney of Branson, Mo., and Dale of Johnstown; and two sisters, Diana Corica of Alameda, Calif., and Lola Curl of San Antonio, Texas.
