Mrs. Bridges was born Sunday, May 28, 1911 in Jackson Co., NC to the late Hill and Pearl Ward Shuler. A member of Smyrna Baptist Church, She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Henry Ballard and 2nd husband, Esker Bridges. Survivors include: daughter, Pearl Brown of Forest City, AK, daughter, Jo Ann Plott of Young Harris, GA, step-daughter, Minnie Belle Keys of Young Harris, GA, step-son, Robert Bridges of Blairsville, GA, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, four step-grandchildren, ten step-great grandchildren, one step-great great grandchild.
