FUNERAL RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. ELSWORTH

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Plummer Funeral Home for Mrs. Annie Schladoer Elsworth, of San Antonio, who passed away in a hospital in that city last Sunday. Deceased was born in Comfort, Texas, on October 15, 1910, and came to this county with her parents, the late Richard Schladoer, and Mrs. Schladoer, when she was a young girl. She lived in the Mason Creek community until her marriage to Clarence Elsworth, then made her home in San Antonio until her death. She is survived by her husband, three sons and one daughter. The sons are Ernest Ray, Gerry Lee and Edward Earl; the daughter, Wanda Jean, all of San Antonio; mother, Mrs. Richard Schladoer; brothers, Ernest, Bennie of Bandera; Edwin of San Antonio; one sister, Mrs. Lewis Pfeiffer of Comfort.

Active pall-bearers were J. C. Dugosh, Bandera; Paul Triss, Olin Brandt, Herbert Schladoer, of Comfort and Walter Doehne and Milton Rogers of San Antonio.

Rev. Pat Armstrong, Methodist minister from San Antonio, conducted the service and Luther Guest read the prayer.

A large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends who came for the last rites and the lovely flowers gave mute evidence of the high esteem in which she was held by all who knew her. We join her many friends in offering condolence and sympathy to the bereaved ones.
