Willie Anderson Duncan, 95, of 337 Willie Duncan Road, Siler City, died Thursday, November 13, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation Of Siler City.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 15, at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City with Rev. Greg W. Burriss and Rev. Gene Booker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites.

Mr. Duncan was born January 24, 1913, the son of John Anderson and Alma Keller Duncan.

Mr. Duncan was a native of Piggott, Ark. and a retired night watchman with Kellwood and a farmer and operated Duncan's Store at Crutchfields Crossroads. He was a member of Rocky River Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Willie served in the Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; two sons, Tommy Duncan and Truman Duncan, Sr.; four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtice (Cooper) Duncan; one daughter, Joyce D. Tally of Bear Creek, N.C.; one son, John B. Duncan of Siler City, N.C.; one sister, Katie Harrell of Archdale, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
