Graveside services for Lester James Gagner, 66, of Placerville, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Camino Cemetery. Members of Sierra Nevada Post 2680, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Placerville, will officiate. Arrangements are by Memory Chapel.
Mr. Gagner died July 15 at a local hospital.
A native of Bismarck, N.D., he had lived the past 13 years in El Dorado County. He was in the Military for 29 years and last worked for El Dorado County at the fairgrounds.
Mr. Ragner was the husband of Edith Gagner of Placerville, the step-father of Judith Farman of Atascadero and Barbara Bagley of Modesto; and the brother of Raymond Gagner and Armond Gagner, both of Riverside, and Edward Gagner and Stella Dupaez, both of Corona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren."
