Died suddenly
Robert Tuttle, SR., 64, a long-time Keya Paha County resident, died suddenly at his home north of Springview Tuesday morning. Tuttle was found by a neighbor, Rick Carr, outside the home where he had gone on an errand.
Funeral services were pending. Survivors include his wife Emily and a son, Robert, JR.

ROBERT C. TUTTLE
Robert Charles Tuttle, SR. was born at Palmer, Ne. Oct. 23, 1915, the fourth of five children to Charles and Adeline Mithofer Tuttle, and died suddenly Sept. 16 at the family home near Springview.
The family moved to Big Springs, Ne. in 1919, and to Cherry County in 1920. He attended school for seven years at the Lost Creek School and one year at Pleasant Valley School where he graduated from the eighth grade.
During the years he grew to manhood, he worked for various Sandhills Ranchers.
He was married to Emily Vaughn at Winner, S. D. July 6, 1937, and to them a son, Robert Duane, was born.
The Tuttle's worked for Earl Weston for fourteen years before moving to Springview in 1952 where he continued working for different ranchers. The family moved to the present ranch in 1956.
He was a member of the Methodist Church of Springview since Dec. 16, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and a sister.
He is survived by his wife Emily, son, Robert, three grandsons, five granddaughters, one great grand-daughter, one brother, Raymond, Valentine; sister, Minnie Dobson, Holdrege and other relatives.
Services were held Sept. 19, at the Springview Auditorium with the REV. Charles Bailey officiating. Music was provided by Norman nelson, Ceile Ripley and Howard Carr, Mrs. Norman Nelson, accompanist.
Pallbearers were Meredith Worth, Kevin Schoettger, Mick Zink, Garth Carr, Bill Clark, Clarence Ruther. Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Springview.
